Seedbeds will be firm and clean tilled. The seeding operation shall be by drill method. After seed application seedbeds will be mulched and crimped stated below in (f)(iii), at a rate of 1000#/acre; weed control will be as necessary. Recommended seedbed preparation date is late June with July 1 to I S recommended for seeding. Dormant seeding recommendations are from October 15 to April 15. Early October, just prior to the first hard freeze is recommended as the most appropriate time for dormant seeding. Seeding of stockpiled topsoil for stabilization will be broadcast and raked by hand using the same recommended seed mix as above at. Any other areas requiring broadcast seed application will be done at twice the recommended drill application rate. As stated above in Exhibit D-(a) Minine Plan -Description of Methods, a total of 23.75 acres is contained within the proposed permit azea of which approximately 20 acres will be ultimately disturbed by mining activities. At this point in time, including the proposed 5.30 acre addition requested through this permit application, it is estimated that the life of the mine at the site will be from 10 to 1 S years. The initial pit, stockpile and equipment staging areas are shown on the Mining Plan Map located in Exhibit C and represent the current state of activities at the site by Hard Rock Redi-Mix, Inc.
