(6) There are no drill or auger holes involved in this operation to be plugged to pr vent pollution
drainage. Neither are there any adits or shafts to be closed or reclaimed.
(7) Maximum slopes and combination shall be compatible with the configuration of
surrounding conditions as selected land use.
Backslope will be finished at a maximum of 2H:1 V. These are compatible with th configuration
of surround slopes to the north and west, but much flatter than those to the east d south. No
swimming or ponding will be involved after reclamation.
(8) If the operator's choice of reclamation is for agricultural or horticultura crops, which
normally require the use of farm machinery, the operator shall grade so that t e area can be
traversed with farm machinery.
The operator's choice of reclamation is not agricultural or horticultural crops, therefore, the proposed
plan is adequate for rangeland.
(9) An operator may baclclill structural material generated within the permitted area into an
excavated pit within the area......
Any structural backfill generated will be sold as product. This means that none will~e available to
be used with or affect reclamation. Neither will there be any excavated pit areas t at will require
filling.
(10) All mined materials to be disposed of within the affected area must be han led in such a
manner as to prevent any unauthorized release of pollutants to the surface dr inage system.
The material to be mined and exposed is sand and gravel aggregate. This mater~al is basically
chemically inert and would not release any pollutants to the drainage system.
(11) No unauthorized release of pollutants to groundwater shall occur from ~ny materials
mined, handled or disposed of within the permit area.
There will be no pollutants orpollutant-bearing material that will be handled, mined
in the pemrit area that could be disposed of within the permit area that could be rele
water.
3.1.6 General Requirements
disposed of
d to ground
None of these requirements mentioned apply [o this project.
