^ Mr. Joe Dudash, CDMG
Re: TR-76 Second Response
Page 2
Response to Comment 27
The Section 5.0 page in question (enclosed) was revised to correctly indicate 80 existing
topsoil stockpiles and six new stockpiles as of December 31, 1996. Table 5-3, page 3
(enclosed), was revised to accurately reflect 186.6 total acres of topsoil stockpile
disturbance as of December 31, 1996.
Response to Comment 35
The water level plots in Appendix A of the Annual Report use data from baseline to
present. Some of the eazly data for wells with greater than 20 years of recorded data may
have to be dropped in the future from the plots in order to enable the current year
changes to be better presented. If Trapper proposes the shorter time span to be used on
plots, the historical data will be referenced in earlier plots. The plow in Appendix B for
the ground-water quality also use historical through present data. It may also become
advantageous in the future to present a shorter period of time for some wells in order to
adequately portray the changes that have occurred in the most recent yeaz. The TSS and
wnductivity versus time plots present historical through present data. The flow versus
TSS plow have presented only the recent years data. Historical data will be added to
these plots in the future with a different symbol being used for the current year
information. This will also be done for the flow versus conductivity plots.
Response to Comment 36
Flow versus time graphs will be developed for all of the NPDES sites in the 1997 annual
report.
Response to Comment 37
The surface water tables in Appendix C will present a "0" for zero flow periods as in the
1996 annual report.
Please contact me or Karl Koehler of my staff if you have any further questions or
concerns.
Sincerely,
~ ".~7
Forrest Luke
Environmental Manager
FVL
J7R76RE52.docJ
Encl
c File 109.2.3.4, w/enc
Revisions notebook, w/mc
