(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVc Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of August 1 through August 7, 2004. • The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 48° F to 55° F, and highs ranged from 70° F to 90° F. Weather observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVc construction. Ames conducted Phase IVc construction activities on seven days of this seven-day reporting period (August 1 through August 7, 2004). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nc construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (August 1 through August 7, 2004). Phase IVc Ames continued limited Structural Fill (SF) cut to fill and slope re-contouring activifies along the Phase IVb /Phase IVc tie-in area above the LOB. Ames hauled, placed, and compacted Soil Liner Fill (SLF) material into the Phase IVc OSA, on the east section of the VLF. SLF material was tested, conditioned, reworked, retested, and maintained prior to SLF surface acceptance. Ames continued production of bentonite-amended SLF at the screen plant and pug mill located above • the Ames materials yazd.
