(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Nc Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of July 18 through July 24, 2004. • The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 45° F to 53° F, and highs ranged from 59° F to 77° F. Weather observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Construcfion Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor, for the Phase Nc construction. Ames conducted Phase Nc construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (July 19 through July 24, 2004). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nc constmction activities on five days of this seven-day reporting period (July 19 through July 23, 2004). Phase Nc Ames continued limited Structural Fill (SF) cut to fill and slope re-contouring activities along the Phase Nb /Phase Nc tie-in azea above the LOB. Ames placed and compacted Soil Liner Fill (SLF) material into the Phase Nc OSA, on the east section of the VLF. SLF material was tested, conditioned, reworked, retested, and maintained prior to SLF surface acceptance. Ames continued excavafion of the Phase Nc OSA geomembrane anchor trench in the northern portion • of Phase Nc on Raven Hill, excavating approximately 150 feet of anchor trench in prepazation for liner Phase Nc 11 June 18-July 24 2004 043-2170
