(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVc Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of June 6 through June 12, 2004. • The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 33° F to 53° F, and highs ranged from 58° F to 75° F. Weather observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction Synopsis i• Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase FVc construction. Ames conducted Phase Nc construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (June 7 through June 12, 2004). Poly-Flex conducted Phase FVc construction activifies on six days of this seven-day reporting period (June 7 through June 12, 2004). Phase IVc Ames continued construction of the Leak Detection Trench (LDT) within Phase IVc along the central section of the VLF from the Saddle Fill. Ames constructed approximately 750 feet of LDT. Ames continued excavation of the Secondary Underdrain (SU) within Phase IVc along the central section of the VLF Raven Hill azea. Ames excavated approximately 200 feet of SU. Ames continued excavation of the OSA geomembrane anchor trench in the western portion of Phase IVc on Chickenhawk Hill, the Saddle FIlI, and Raven Hill, excavating and backfilling approximately 500 linear feet of anchor trench for geomembrane deployment activities.
