(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVc Construction Quality <br />Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of May 23 through June <br />5, 2004. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 25° F to 47° F, and highs ranged from 43° F to 72° F. Weather <br />observations were made on fourteen days of this fourteen-day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVc <br />construction. Ames conducted Phase IVc construction activities on ten days of this fourteen-day <br />reporting period (May 24 through May 28, and June 1 through June 5, 2004). Poly-Flex conducted <br />Phase IVc construction activities on ten days of this fourteen-day reporting period (May 24 through <br />May 28, and June 1 through June 5, 2004). <br />Phase IVc <br />Ames continued contouring and compaction of subgrade in preparaflon for soil liner fill (SLF) <br />placement in the Phase IVc Ore Storage Area (OSA). Ames spread and placed structural fill (SF) <br />within the Phase Nc area footprint during slope re-contouring. <br />Ames continued construction of the Phase IVc Leak Detection Trench (LDT) within Phase Nc along <br />the central section of the VLF on Saddle FIlI.
