• Area 8 (Cut/Fill Slopes Along Road)
Area 8a (Cut/Fill Slopes along Road) consists of 45 acres, of which 4
acres will be permanently revegetated during Fall 1982, using topsoil
generated during the Dam Access Road construction. The 4 acres have been
regraded to approximately a 3:1 slope. The 4 acres were originally associated
with the old jeep trail that was abandoned as construction of the permanent
road progressed, making these areas available for permanent revegetation.
Thirtysix acres make up the permanent Dam Access Road to be completed in
1984 to facilitate construction of Middle Fork Dam. At that time the
other abandoned sections of the original road will be permanently revegetated.
The remaining 5 acres of the 45 are made up of road surface that will be
stabilized using dust suppressants as necessary during the 1982 - 1984
• period.
Area 8b (Summit Office Site) consists of 6 acres associated with the
construction of Middle Fork Dam. The 6 acres will be stabilized using
dust suppressants during 1982 and 1983, and be permanently revegetated
during 1984 after the site is no longer needed for the Middle Fork Dam
construction. The 6 acre site will be regraded and topsoil from the
Office Site construction activities will be respread over the site.
Area 9 - Davis Gulch Dam Area
Area 9 consists of 26 acres, including 22 acres of the Davis Gulch Dam site and
adjacent disturbed areas. These 22 acres will remain disturbed until a
• decision is made to construct the Davis Gulch Dam or to reclaim the area.
