Area 16b (Construction Water Pipeline - La Sal) covers 8 acres and will be
regraded to conform to the adjacent topography, topsoil available from pipe-
line construction will be respread, and the area will be permanently reve-
getated during 1982.

Area 17 Coarse Ore Gulch
Area 17a (Coarse Ore Stockpile Area) covers 56 acres. Of the 56 acres, 20
acres were stabilized using dust suppressants during 1982. The other 36
acres were not accessible for dust suppression. During 1983, roads will be
constructed to make the 36 acres accessible, and the entire 56 acres will
be stabilized using dust suppressants as necessary during 1983 and 1984.
• Area 17b (Guard Pond Disturbance) consists of 10 acres, of which 5 acres
were never disturbed and are considered finished areas. The remaining 5
acres consisted primarily of roads to drill sites. These will be recovered
with topsoil which was stockpiled during construction, be regraded to con-
form to the adjacent topography and be permanently revegetated during the
fall of 1982.
Area l7c (Surface Conveyor Disturbance) covers 5 acres and will be per-
manently revegetated during the fall of 1982. Only minor regrading is
planned prior to revegetation, because the only disturbance was the removal
of the vegetation.

1
