• Area 15 - Southdraw Dam Material Stockpile
Area 15a (Topsoil Haul Roads) consists of 9 acres, of which 3 acres will
be permanently revegetated during the fall of 1982. The 3 acres have been
regraded to nearly flat lying slopes, and topsoil removed prior to haul road
construction will be respread. The remaining six acres make up roads which
would have been utilized to haul the stockpile materials out of the South-
draw in 1984. Although no material was stockpiled, the site was stripped
of topsoil. The topsoil will be respread in 1984 and the 6 acres regraded
to approximately 3:1 slopes, and permanently revegetated in 1984, unless
the possible construction of the Davis Gulch Dam requires the use of these
stockpile sites.
• Area 15b (Stockpile Areas) consists of 31 acres that were stripped of
topsoil for placement of dam material stockpiles. Due to the low potential
for water and wind erosion, no stabilization or revegetation is planned until
a decision regarding the construction of Davis Gulch Dam has been made.
Area 16 - La Sal Laydown Site
Area 16a (Laydown Site) consists of 50 acres, of which 35 acres were stabi-
lized by dust suppressants during 1982. The remaining 15 acres were
inaccessible for dust suppression application. In 1983 the 15 acres will
become accessible via planned road construction. and the entire 50 acres
will be stabilized using dust suppressants as necessary in 1983 and 1984.
• No revegetation is planned for this site during the 1982 - 1984 period.
e
