<br />Area 18 Plant Site <br />Area 18a (Switchyard fill) consists of 19 acres, of which 6 acres are a <br />finished slope. Of the remaining 13 acres, 9 acres were stabilized with <br />dust suppressants in 1982, while the other 4 acres were not accessible. A <br />temporary road will be constructed in 1983 to make the 4 acres accessible, <br />which, alongwith the 9 acres, will be stabilized using dust suppressants as <br />necessary in 1983 and 1984. <br />Area 18b (South Valley Fill Face) consists of 6 acres of rock fill which is <br />considered a finished slope. <br />• Area 18c (Gondola Site) covers 11 acres, of which 1 acre of stockpiled <br />topsoil will be temporarily revegetated in the fall of 1982. Five acres <br />were stabilized using dust suppressants in 1982, while the other 5 acres <br />were not accessible. In 1983, a temporary road will be constructed to make <br />all 10 acres accessible and the (10-acre) area will then be stabilized <br />using dust suppressants as necessary in 1983 and 1984. <br />Area 18d (North Valley Fill) consists of 38 acres, of which 1 acre will be <br />topsoiled, regraded to adjacent topography and permanently revegetated <br />during Fall 1982. Nineteen acres will be stabilized using dust suppressants <br />during 1982, and another 16 acres will become accessible in 1983. These 35 <br />acres will be stabilized using dust suppressants as necessary in 1983 and <br />1984. The remaining 2 acres make up the face of North Valley Fill that is <br />. considered a finished slope. <br />
