II. Ground Water <br />A. Ground water and Geology sections of the permit labeled <br />"confidential" will be submitted for public review and have <br />been included in the response. <br />• Pages 200-202 should also be included, as they are missing <br />also. <br />B. The Benitendi well information is found on page 81. <br />In addition to this, Powderhorn will add that there is one <br />beneficial use well near the permit area. This was agreed on <br />phone conversation with John Nadolski, 2/19/93. <br />C. Clarification in the text as to water treatment. <br />Pages 203 and 204 to be re-edited and to drop "clarified and <br />treated" from the permit. Surface Water <br />A. An new gaging station on Cottonwood Creek will be <br />installed in the summer of 1993 for the purposes of <br />measuring possible impacts of surface flow from mining <br />activities. The station is upstream of subsidence impacts and <br />mining activities. <br />Steve Wathen is to review any additional surface water <br />concerns. <br />Iv. Issues to be Addressed in Future Annual Hydrolow Reports <br />A. Hydrographs for UTL wells 1-4. <br />B. For NPDES #002 - lab report from samples taken 12/92 of <br />water quality for underground mine water discharge: full <br />suite analysis. <br />* Powderhorn has committed to an annual full suite analysis of <br />NPDES X002. See page 208 and Table 2.05.6B for parameter <br />list. <br />C. Results of all available hydrologic data, including any <br />for full suite parameter testing on surface water sites. <br />In particular, baseline data from 1979-1981 for the <br />Colorado River. <br />
