'Phase IVb Weekly Summary No. 27 Page 2 003-2203 Ames uncovered Drain Cover Fill (DCF) and silted in regions of previously installed gemembrane, and at tie-in areas where material had washed in from rainfaIl. Ames backfilled approximately 350 linear feet of Phase fVb OSA anchor trench, south slope of substation hill. Ames hauled, placed, and compacted SLF material onto the Phase IVb OSA slope, south slope of the substation lull area, and south slope of Raven Hill, west of the LOB. SLF material was worked, tested, and passed per project specifications prior to SLF surface acceptance. Ames continued placement of High Volume Solution Collection System (HVSCS) secondary and tertiary piping within the Phase IVb OSA limits, followed by DCF haul and placement per project plans. Ames continued a haul and placement of DCF onto the west and south facing slope of Substation Hill. Ames continued production of DCF at the screen plant located near the Secondary Crusher. Ames also continued limited production of SLF. Poly-Flex continued deployment of 80-mil single-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane in the Phase IVb OSA on the west-facing slope of substation hill. Poly-Flex deployed 80-mil single-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane over an azea of approximately 217,186 square feet in the Phase IVb OSA during this reporting period. Geomembrane panels B-511 through B-613 were deployed, seamed, and tested by Poly-Flex. Destructive fusion and extrusion seam samples DFb-152 through DFb-156 and DXb-29 through DXb-34 were marked and removed. Destructive fusion and extrusion seam peel and sheaz tests on 80-mil single sided textured geomembrane deployed during this reporting period passed per project specifications. Destructive peel and shear testing on 80-mil fusion and extrusion samples taken this period passed project specifications. A map of the area worked during this reporting period is provided in Attachment C Phase IVc Ames performed limited cut to stockpile activities in the Phase IVc area during this reporting period. Ames excavated underground working UNK-10 (UG-253) and subsequently backfilled and compacted the area with SF. Field Monitoring and Testing Activities Golder observed construction activities associated with Phase IV earthworks. All construction materials and soil materials placed were verified as suitable, and construction methods were in accordance with project specifications. Golder observed placement, compaction, and moisture conditioning of SLF in the Phase IVb OSA for subgrade preparation, thickness, compaction, moisture content; and materials.
