(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Constmction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of July 20 through July 26, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 48° F to 57° F, and highs ranged from 78° F to 91° F. Weather observations were made on six days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction Svnorosis Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nb construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (July 21 through July 26). Poly-Flex conducted Phase IVb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (July 21 through July 26}. Phase IVb Ames re-contoured and re-compacted subgrade Structural Fill (SF) in preparation for Soil Liner Fi21 (SLF) placement in the Phase IVb OSA on the south facing slopes of Raven Hill, north of the PSSA. Ames also re-contoured and compacted SF pad III are slope in preparation of Bedding Fill (BF} placement and compaction efforts. Ames then exposed approximately l00 linear feet of geomembrane liner at the Phase IVb /Ore pad slope in preparation of BF placement and subsequent 100-mil smooth liner deployment.
