EXHIBIT C
~nin9 PIA N
~,;
A. Operation commenced 1978 an~ is tentatively scheduled until
2015.
B. The depth of the salvaged topsoil to be used for reclamation is
to be 3-4 inches thick. The topsoil for this site is to be
located in two piles. Each stockpile will be stabilized with a
vegetative cover of fast grosing prosso millet if the need
arises.
C. The thickness of the overburden ranges from one foot to five
feet.
D. The thickness of the sand and gravel to be mined varies from six
to twelve feet.
E. Hajor components of the mining operation consists of mining pit
and haul road.
F. The disturbances to the and~yurface consists of overbuden and
topsoil stockpiles. ~~~~~ 1
G. Dimension of exisiting roads-no improvements necessary on
existing road.
H. No water will be used in conjunction with mining operation.
I. N/A
J. N/A
K. NfA
L. Measures taken to minimize disturbance to the hydrologic balance
consists of the mining operation to expose a minimal amount of
surface area for mining at any given time. As excavation
continues the disturbed area is to be backsloped to reduce
runoff posibilities. The lower area of the operation is flat and
porous enough to slow any runoff from the operation. The soil in
the affected mined area should not present any reclamation
problems with standing precipitation due to its porous
consistency. The land surrounding the mine is range and the
proposed future use is to be the same.
M. The deposit will not be processed on-site.
N. Sand and gravel.
O. N/Ac
