Vegetation and soil characteristics: <br /> <br />According to the local soil conservation office the soil <br />consists mainly of the Fort-Schamber Complex. This soil complex <br />consists of very deep, well drained soils that formed mainly in <br />mixed eolian sediments and alluvium. It is a very gravelly sandy <br />loam. <br />Native vegetation is mainly blue gramma, galleta, buffalograss, <br />western wheatgrass, and sand dropseed. <br />B. Permanent and man-made structures within 200 feet of affected <br />area: <br />Consists of county maintained graveled driveway leading to land <br />owners residence. <br />C. Water resources: <br />Drainage from the affected area flows into Horse Creek. There is <br />no other significant water resource in the area. <br />D. Wildlife statement: <br />No critical or important wildlife habitats or wildlife species <br />will be impacted. <br />
