Exhibit "D".
Reclamation ~n
(a) The majority of the overburden will be stockpiled until the
time for closing the operation approaches. Some will be
replaced in areas of the operation where reclamation will
commence and to depths necessary for stability of the slope.
(b) Reclaimed slopes will be approximately 3-1.
(c) Measures taken to revegetate the site are in accordance with
reclamation plan recommended by Natural Resources Conservation
Service. Refer to attached N.R.C.S. sheet.
(d) No ponds, streams, roads, or buildings will remain after
reclamation.
(e) Measures taken to minimize disturbance to the hydrological
balance are: has excavation proceeds from south to north,
exposed surface area should be minimal. The disturbed area
will be backsloped to reduce runoff possibilities. The lower
area of the operation is flat and porous and should slow
runoff from the exposed surface area. If necessary a fast
growing cover of Prosso millet can be sown to retard any
runoff possibilities.
