(MCC), provides the following responses to the Division's adequacy <br />letter dated September 18, 2000, regazding the above referenced technical revision. All previously <br />resolved questions aze not included in this letter. <br />Sylvester Gulch <br />Additional Question: As you discussed with our contractor (Steiger's Corporation) on the telephone, <br />this question resulted from the review of a previous version of Map 54B. After review of the most <br />current revised Map 54B, I understand that CDMG no longer has a question regazding the SAES at the <br />shaft #3 pad and the degas pad. <br />North Soil Storage Area <br />20(b). Drawing 2 for the NSSA pond has been revised to include a scale for the detail sections. <br />20(c). The crest length of the emergency spillway has been corrected in the revised SEDCAD run for <br />the NSSA pond. The revised model is enclosed. <br />The revised SEDCAD run for the NSSA pond has also been revised to correct the outflow from <br />the pond. The flow through the emergency spillway is at a depth to allow one foot of <br />freeboard. Rule 4.05.6(1 ])(e) applies to ponds with embankments, the NSSA pond is an <br />incised pond. <br />
