Drawing 2 for the NSSA pond has been revised to reflect the correct depth of the emergency
spillway.
The NSSA pond is an incised pond; therefore, no embankments were constructed. Please note
that the outslope on the north side of the pond, which is the location of the principal spillway
and the view of Detail 1 on Drawing 2, is the natural slope that ends at the river. This slope
was not surveyed, only the outlet of the principal spillway, and was simply estimated on the
drawing to show that there is cover over the principal spillway pipe. This slope was not altered
during the construction of the NSSA. The top elevation of the pond on the north side is
6078.16, which is also the natural elevation in this area. Drawing ?has been revised to reflect
that the pond is incised and does not have embankments.
The inslope of the pond was provided on Detail 1 and Detail 2.
Please call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~~
Henry .
