TCC response (Pond G <br />The certification for the pond will be incorporated into Exhibit SJ of the permit. The <br />pond has been re-surveyed and the drawing has shown there aze some discrepancies <br />between the existing drawing and the one recently completed. TCC would like to <br />discuss the discrepancies with the Division once it has had an opportunity to diswss <br />them in detail. A plan for addressing the discrepancies will be presented at the <br />meeting. Once the plan is agreed upon TCC can proceed with the certification of <br />it. In the interim, the pond will continue to function as it has in the past and TCC <br />does not anticipate any problems with meeting discharge requirements. <br />Division response (Pond Gl <br />Again, the design information requested was not submitted. The original issue as <br />outlined in the midterm still stands. I am not sure what discrepancies need to be <br />discussed in a meeting. <br />Fish Creek Borehole Ponds <br />Maps 26, 27, 28, and 32 do not reflect an accurate depiction of the Fish Creek borehole <br />ponds and facility in general. Accurate design information is required and this <br />impoundment must be certified as per the Policy Memorandum. <br />TCC response (Fish Creek Borehole Ponds <br />These ponds are not longer utilized for the dewatering of the mine as water is being <br />stored underground. The ponds have been surveyed and once the drawings are <br />available they can be incorporated into Exhibit 81{. Likewise, the P.E. certification <br />will be forwazded for placement into the Exhibit. In the interim period, TCC will <br />not discharge into the ponds until the appropriate certification has been forwarded <br />to the Division. <br />Division response (Fish Creek Borehole Ponds <br />Again, information is lacking. The original issue as outlined in the midterm still <br />stands. <br />Wastewater Treatment Ponds <br />Please submit SGM's design information for the waste water treatment ponds in cross- <br />section and plan view. Bond re-calculation requires volume information which will be <br />obtained from this information. Certification for this facility is adequate. <br />
