Please clarify the discharge of site 109 mine water in detail and correct <br />Exhibit 8, text pages, and any other information to reflect approved activities. <br />Design information from permit #C-81-071 should be included in the Foidel Creek mine <br />permit as appropriate. A certification statement as described in the Policy Memorandum <br />should also be submitted for Pond E referencing specific design criteria. <br />TCC response (Pond E) <br />The design and certification of Pond E was handled under Technical revision 96-25. <br />The design was presented in Exhibit 8E of TR-96-25. This should be on file with the <br />Division and please advise if the design and certification are not available at your <br />office. <br />Division response (Pond El <br />TCC is correct that the design information in Exhibit 8E is appropriate but a signed, <br />stamped certification statement by a registered P.E. as requested and as outlined in <br />the policy memo was not submitted. <br />Pond F <br />Design and certification appears accurate for this pond. Please incorporate the appropriate <br />information into the Foidel Creek mine permit. <br />TCC response (,Pond F) <br />The certification for the pond can be placed into Exhibit 8I of the permit. <br />Division response (Pond F) <br />TCC needs to submit the design information from the CYCC C-81-071 permit, as <br />requested, for inclusion into the C-82-056 permit. <br />Pond <br />Please include appropriate design information from permit #C-81-071 into the Foidel Creek <br />permit. A certification statement for Pond G is also required. <br />
