4.2.3 Cut and Fill Volumes
• Approximately 465 cubic yards of material will be removed during
construction of the sediment pond. The various berms that will be
constructed will require approximately 300 cubic yards. The
remaining 165 cubic yards will be used to extend the working area
in the southern-most portion of the leased area. In this area, a
drainage ditch which connects the other industrial properties with
the D&RG sediment pond (outside of the permit area) limits access
to the entire tracks within the permit area. Therefore, an
extension to the existing culvert will be added, and the remaining
material used to fill this area up to the existing land surface.
The 10-inch thick layer of gravel which overlies the ground surface
will be scraped from the sediment pond area and will be deposited
on the newly filled area at the extreme south end of the permit
area.
4.2.4 Sians and Markers
• NCIG will comply with all regulations required for signs and
markers as stated by the CMLRD. The signs and markers will be
posted and maintained in areas where designation is required to
inform persons of the activities which are taking place. They will
b2 constructed of durable material and will be of uniform design
throughout the operation to insure visibility and readability. Any
local ordinances and codes which may involve signs and markers will
be followed.
NCIG will provide and install markers, as approved by CMLRD, along
the perimeter of the permit area. The markers will consist of
painted steel posts (for example green with a white top) and will
be placed at distances between 100 and 300 feet, depending upon
visibility. The markers will be spaced so as to be visible from
adjacent markers. They will be installed prior to any operation/-
construction at the load out facility.
• NCIG - Load Out Revision 4-3 ABC/1145/910531
`/s~ql
