STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN (SWMP)
AND EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL REPORT
~j, FOR
ST. VRAIN LAKE GRADING IMPROVEMENT PLANS
Pt
1 ~ Page 16
IV. Final Stabilization and Long-Term Storm Water Management
All temporary erosion and sediment control measures shall be removed and
disposed within 30 days after final site stabilization is achieved, or after the
y ~ temporary measures are no longer needed, whichever occurs earliest, or as
~ authorized by the local governing jurisdiction. Temporary erosion control
measures may be removed only after streets and drives are paved and all areas
have achieved final stabilization. Trapped sediment and disturbed soil areas
r i resulting from the disposal of temporary measures must be returned to final
(j plan grades and permanently stabilized to prevent further soil erosion.
r ~ Final stabilization is reached when all soil disturbing activities at the site have
j been completed, and uniform vegetative cover has been established with a
density of at least 70 percent of pre-disturbance levels or equivalent permanent
physical erosion reduction methods have been employed.
V. Other Controls
s~
,!
Additional provisions of the erosion and sediment control plan relating to waste
disposal include:
,i
• The contractor shall remove all sediment, mud and construction debris that
may accumulate in the flow lines and public rights-of-way as a result of the
site development. This shall be performed in a timely manner.
~' Soil stockpiles shall be protected with temporary perimeter sediment barriers
at all times.
• The contractor shall control sediment, debris and all other pollutants from
entering the storm sewer system as a result of construction operations.
• The owner and designated agents shah ensure that all loads of cut and fill
material imported or exported from the site shall be properly covered to
prevent loss of the material during transport on public rights-of-way.
