• RECLAMATION PLAN EXHIBIT E
1. General Reclamation Plan
The post-mining land use for the entire permit azea will be wildlife habitat and dry rangeland. Of
the 244.62 total acres within the permit area, the following acreages make up the reclaimed area:
- 144.45 acres to 161.72 acres will be reclaimed to a lake surface;
- 0 acres to 17.27 acres will be an island reclaimed to dry rangeland;
- 3.45 acres to 4.69 acres will be reclaimed to wetland fringe;
- 1.11 acres will comprise the access road on Teddie Graff's property; and
- 77.1 acres to 78.34 acres will be reclaimed to dry rangeland.
All of these acreages listed above aze approximate and will vary depending on whether enough
overburden remains after mining to create the island as shown on Map F, Reclamation Plan Map.
• If insufficient overburden remains to create an island of maximum size, then either a smaller or
no island will be created. As indicated in the mine plan, the gravel access road on Teddy GrafPs
property will be paved and will remain in place following mining. The dry rangeland will be
created by building peninsulas into the mined azea with overburden, as shown on Map F,
Reclamation Plan Map. Map F also shows the post-mining topography and identifies the lake,
maximum sized island and dry rangeland azeas.
Reclamation for the Anderson Pit will occur concun•ently with mining. As mining progresses
across the site, perimeter slopes of 2H:1 V will be created as shown on Map F, Reclamation Plan.
These slopes will be backfilled with overburden removed from the current mining phase to create
the peninsulas and reclamation slopes of 3H:1 V. A minimum of twelve inches of topsoil will
then be placed on all graded azeas except those areas that aze ten feet below expected water level.
Following placement of topsoil, the azeas designated as dry rangeland will be revegetated with
the dryland seed mix while the azea designated as wetland fringe will be revegetated with the
wetland seed mix in accordance with the Revegetation Plan section of this exhibit. The wetland
• fringe around the perimeter of the lake will be ten feet wide.
Anderson Pit, Apri107 E-1
