• 2.3 Environmental Information <br /> As per Rule 6.0 of the Rules, environmental information required for this <br /> Amendment application is found in Exhibit G (Water and Wetlands), Exhibit H <br /> (Wildlife), Exhibit I (Soils), Exhibit J (Vegetation) _a nd Exhibit K (Climate and Air <br /> Quality). As referenced earlier, the new affected land is USFS managed land <br /> and requires a SUP for entry. The EA was prepared by USFS to assess <br /> environmental impacts of the overland conveyor. This document and the <br /> information provided in the original Permit application in 1977 account for the <br /> significant data and information on environmental components reviewed for this <br /> Amendment. Summaries and excerpts from these documents are included in <br /> the referenced exhibits that are incorporated into this Amendment application. <br /> • 3.0 RECLAMATION PLAN (EXHIBIT E) <br /> 3.1 Post-mining Land Use <br /> Post-mining land Use in the 1977 Permit was specified as 'Open Forest'. This <br /> land use is consistent with current DMG accepted land use designations of <br /> Rangeland (RL) and Wildlife Habitat (WL). Considering the location of the <br /> conveyor project, rangeland and wildlife post-mining land uses provide potential <br /> surrogate uses for recreation and forestry. These designated land use are <br /> acceptable to the USFS, the surface land manager. <br /> 3.2 Goals and Objectives <br /> Reclamation goals and objectives cited in this Reclamation Plan (Plan) are <br /> • consistent with the objectives in the 1977 Permit.
