(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Construction Quality Assurance <br />(CQA) services performed for the Modified Amendment No. 7 boundary (Phase Ii/III extension) <br />construction at the Cresson Project during the period of September 12 through September 18, 2004. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 36° F to 50° F, and highs ranged from 70° F to 78° F. Weather <br />observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. <br />Construction 5ynopsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase II-III <br />extension construction, Ames conducted Phase II-III extension construction activities on five days of <br />this seven-day reporting period (September 13 through September 17, 2004). Poly-flex conducted <br />Phase II-III extension construction on two days of this seven day reporting period (September 17 <br />through September 18, 2004). <br />Phase II-III Extension <br />Ames completed cut to fill activities associated with the Modified Amendment Na. 7 boundary <br />construction located at the southwest corner ofthe intersection of the Phase II and Phase III VLF. <br />Ames removed Drain Cover Fill from the Phase II and Phase III existing liner edge in preparation for <br />geomembrane tie-in. <br />Ames hauled, placed, and compacted Soil Liner Fi11(SLF) material into the Phase II-III Extension, on <br />the southwestern portion of the Phase II and Phase III limits.
