RECLAMATION PLAN Requirement: The elevation of the backfilled surface will average from about 0.5 to 3 feet above the groundwater elevation. This will result in a final surface that is from 2 to 10 feet lower than the pre-mining surface elevation. (See Page 10) Requirement: The southeastern corner of the Phase 1 backfill will have a shallow spillway to drain water into the adjacent drainage that leads to the river. (See Page 10) Water -General Requirements Requirement: A substitute water supply plan will be in place prior to any dewatering activities or consumptive uses of water in [he Phase 2 area. This is in addition to the substitute water supply plan for the current Phase 1 operations. The substitute water supply plan for Phase 2 may be approved through amendment of the existing plan or by obtaining approval of a new plan specifically for Phase 2. (See Page 11) Water -Groundwater SpeciSc Requirements - Requirement: The existing ground water level monitoring program will be continued. The water data will be reviewed on a periodic basis to identify ground water level problems that may occur in the aquifer. This information and other data will be used to mitigate any problems or respond to concerns. (See Page IZ) Wildlife Considerations - Requirement: All land not reclaimed to industrial or water storage uses will be reclaimed to wildlife habitat using a blend of riparian forest, wetlands, and open water. (See Page 12) Topsoiling and Growth Media - Requirement: Topsoils removed from this site will be distributed in a layer up to about a foot or two in depth over the backfilled areas. (See Page 13) Requirement: In the event the plan[ site will be revegetated rather than developed for industrial purposes, soil will be spread at a depth of about one foot after thoroughly ripping the surface of the plant site to remove compaction.
