Please provide a description of the depth
and thickness of the deposit to be mined and the thickness and type of overburden to be
removed. Or, describe where in the existing pemut the information is located.
6. Exhibit E - As proposed, the highwalls will be backfilled and graded to match the
surrounding topography. Outslope gradients will not exceed 3:1. Where will the backfill
material come from? How much material is needed to backfill all the cut slopes?
When do you anticipate making a decision about final reclamation (water storage facilities
vs Rangeland)? If water storage facilities aze constructed how do you intend to reclaim the
disturbed azeas azound the facilities? How will each storage facility be constructed? Will
each be a lined structure (layer of clay)? Where will you acquire the clay and will it be of
sufficient quality to achieve the desired permeability to contain water? How thick of a clay
layer do you intend to place in the facility? How will the clay be compacted? What are the
permeability specs.? How often will the clay layer be tested during installation operations
(for density and permeability)? How large aze the water storage facilities? Where will the
inlets and outlets be located?
7. Exhibit F -Reclamation Plan map: a) the map needs to be signed by the qualified person
who prepazed it, b) the map does not contain the exhibit letter or the type of map
(reclamation plan), c) the map does not contain the name of the permittee, d) the map does
not show the expected physical appearance of the area of the affected land.
