• The total area allotted to construction of the perimeter
road, interceptor canal, possible powerline, and additional
tailing delivery facilities is 1132 acres. By the end of 1982,
the perimeter road/interceptor will affect a total of 280
acres, leaving 852 acres as buffer.
Reclamation of the area will proceed in accordance with
the reclamation commitment stipulated in the existing permit.
More specifically, disturbed areas will be ripped or scarified
and revegetated to open forest with the aid of mulch if
necessary during the next growing season. The powerline and
tailing delivery facilities will be dismantled and salvaged.
The interceptor canal will be revegetated and left functional
for possible use by whoever owns or manages the water rights in
the future.
• GRAVEL PIT and STORAGE (10)
In 1979, we requested and received approval of a technical
revision to continue mining gravel in this pit throughout the
life of the mine. The need for aggregate continues, and we
will need to expand the area of the pit. In total, we wish to
add 19 acres to the existing 35 acres. Again, disturbance of
14 of the 19 acres is imminent, leaving 5 acres as buffer.
Reclamation will proceed as described in the existing
permit.
RR GRAVEL PIT (11), CONTRACTORS' CAMP and STORAGE (12), BORROW
AREA (13), POWERLINE/REFUSE AREA (14) and MAKE-UP WATER
LINE/PUMPHOUSE (15) - No change

- 7-
