The <br />reservoir is to be located about 1.5 miles northwest of the <br />tailing pond. Water rights for the reservoir were accounted <br />for in the original permit application (Table 6.1, page 6-42). <br />The facility will consist of a dam 100 feet high and 1,200 <br />feet long. The storage capacity will be 1,900 acre feet. A <br />pumping station will be located on the downstream toe of the <br />dam and a pipeline, access road and powerline will connect to <br />the tailing pond, following an existing but little used stage- <br />coach road (abandoned county road) wherever possible to <br />• minimize newly created disturbance.
