or straw will be utilized exclusively as an organic amendment or mulch. All <br />disturbed areas will be amended with organic matter, fertilized, seeded with native <br />species and mulched. These methods should help prevent infestation by weed <br />species. <br />Any soil stockpiles will periodically be inspected for infestation by weed species. If <br />found, weeds will be pulled out by with as much of the root as possible, or dug <br />below the root crown. Larger areas of weeds, if found, may be mowed or controlled <br />by herbicide application.
