(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction . Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of January 19s' through February 151, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 10° F to 29° F, and highs ranged from 35° F to 48° F. Snow was recorded on January 28`h, 2003. Weather observations were made on ten days of this two week reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nb and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on ten days of this fourteen day reporting period (January 20t1i through January 24s', and January 27`s through January 315` ). Construction activities conducted during this reporting period aze shown in site maps of Phase IVb and IVc, located in Attachment A. Phase IVb Ames continued hauling and placement of Low Volume Solution Collection Fill (LVSCF) in Phase IVb. Ames utilized a Caterpillaz 330 excavator with a baz attachment to taper the crest and shoulder azea of the in-place LVSCF material. Hauling and placement of the LVSCF in the Phase IV PSSA area was completed for the season on January 241h, and will resume in the spring of 2003.
