These materials
were placed in accordance with the drawings and specifications into excavated or open underground
workings. Golder previously obtained samples of SF for laboratory testing. Materials supplied met
specifications. Ames conducted field testing and sampling of CSB and CP concrete as per
specifications, and will supply 28-day strength results.
Golder observed backfill of the geomembrane anchor trench for proper dimensions, lifr thickness,
compaction, and use of suitable material.
Golder observed geomembrane deployment repairs, documenting ambient air temperature, seaming,
tie-in overlap, and seam testing (trial seams, pressure, vacuum, and destructive). Geomembrane
placed in Phase IVb met specifications.
Golder observed placement of LVSCF full time for correct material, road thickness, drop height, and
liner damage. LVSCF was placed in accordance with the specifications.
Golder observed placement of Low Volume Solution Collection piping for proper materials,
connections, and location.
Golder observed and documented confirmation drilling activities associated with the Phase IV
construction. Full-time monitoring was given to confirmation drilling of underground workings,
including logging holes, marking drill locations, surveying holes, and documenting underground
• workings encountered.
Laboratory Tests
Golder obtained one sample of Soil Liner Fill (SLFb-07) and one sample of LVSCF (LVSCFb-02)
for laboratory testing.
