Ames commenced placement of Low Volume Solution Collection Fill (LVSCF) in Phase IVb on November 11`" by building 10-foot haul roads into the Phase IVb PSSA. Ames re-excavated the PSSA sump and placed Soil Liner Fill (SLF) as required prior to the installation of geosynthetics. Ames excavated the LVSC riser trench and performed anchor trench excavation activities after all SLF was in-place. Ames conducted five Depth Verification Tests (DVT) SLF that was placed in the Phase IVb sump azea. Ames continued backfill of the interior anchor trench along the 9606 road on the Phase III ore slope at the completion of geomembrane QA testing. Ames backfilled approximately 700 lineaz feet of anchor trench. Phase IVc Ames performed excavation remediation activities for underground workings UNK-1Q UG-234a, • UG-243, UG-236, UG-506, and UG-546. Ames performed confirmatory drilling activities associated with the Phase IVc construction area on underground workings UG-304, UG-498, and UNK-18. Ames placed Structural Fill (SF) over previously remediated workings at UG-227, UG-511 and UG- 512 and installed Coarse Shaft Backfill (CSB) at UG-221, UG-498, and UG-304. Ames placed Concrete Plug materials (CP) at UG-221, UG-500, UG-502, UG-503, and UG-506. Ames performed blasts at UG-297 and UG-234. Field Monitorine and Testing Activities Golder observed construction activities associated with Phase IV earthworks. All construction materials and soil materials placed were verified as suitable, and construction methods were in accordance with project specifications. Removal of oversized and deleterious material from all fill areas was observed. Golder observed Structural Fill (SF) placement in Phase IV for materials, lift thickness, moisture content, and compactive effort. Golder observed and documented excavation remediation activities associated with the Phase IV underground working construction.
