If demand warrants, direct hauling of borrow material, and unprocessed aggregate material <br />for use as borrow material, from the entrance onto Brighton Road, subject to the requirement <br />that haul trucks shall cover their loads and appropriate temporary traffic control measures as <br />determined by the Adams County Department of Public Works. <br />10. The filling of lake areas with silt from the wash plant water, backfilling of excavated and <br />stored overburden, recovering disturbed areas with stored topsoil, grading, and planting. <br />Storm water from temporary roads and other disturbed areas will be managed by grading to direct <br />storm water from disturbed areas into the existing lake areas and be contained on site. The existing <br />Storm Water Management Plan (S WMP) and Permit will be modified to reflect the addition of this <br />property, or a new SWMP Permit will be obtained. The Spill Prevention Control Plan for the existing <br />site shall be also be modified as suggested by the DMG. A copy of existing permits area Discharge <br />Permit Approval Letter and the existing SPCC Plan are included as pages 10 and 11 of this exhibit. <br />Method of mining to be employed is surface excavation of topsoil, overburden, and aggregate <br />material for use in the production aggregate products. Equipment that will be used on site include a <br />drag-line, loaders, scrapers, backhoes, dozers, excavators, water trucks, end dump and belly dump <br />trucks, and other miscellaneous vehicles. Field conveyors, hoppers, and transfer points will be utilized <br />to provide conveyance to the Plant Site, which is located in the existing permit area. Piping will be <br />installed to convey wash water back to the lake areas from the Plant Site. No explosives will be <br />utilized in the operation. Except for crossing the Fulton Ditch in areas of prior disturbance that will <br />remain after mining is completed for the Ditch Company's use, all activities will be undertaken either <br />within the existing permit area or in the Amendment No. I area. <br />Except as outlined on the next page and in accordance with standards established in the existing <br />permit, the minimum excavation setback shall be 35' from any adjacent property line. As with the <br />existing phases, slopes may be initially excavated to a nearly vertical condition, .SH to 1 V, but will <br />be immediately backfilled to at least 1H:1 V slopes. All final slopes of shall be minimum of 3H to I V <br />in steepness. Typical excavation and final reclamation sloping and minimum setbacks are shown <br />graphically on EXHIBIT F SHEET 2 of 2 -RECLAMATION PLAN MAP. Prior to any excavation <br />being undertaken in any area, excavation setbacks will be staked in the field to ensure relevant <br />excavation setbacks are followed.
