Page 2 ~ •
The main waste stockpile area will be between the
5860 contour in the south and the property boundary on
the north. Drainage will be provided on the west end. This
area 270' x 100' x 20' provides about 25,000 tons of stock-
pile area.
The quarry plan indicates an estimated 10,000 tons of waste
material per 60,000 tons of gypsum produced. This was an
estimate only. InMinGo's Geologist reevaluated this ratio
and he believes it to be high. If the waste rock area is
depleted as estimated then additional temporary waste rock
stockpile area will be requested until the material can
be backfilled in the quarry.
3. It is not feasible to increase the slope of the quarry walls
at this time. 'Che original estimate of ore to waste is 6:1
at a rate of 20,000 TPY necessitates these slopes. If the
slopes are not kept at this ratio then a pit would result
in the final quairry.
There are many variables that enter into the mine production
and as mining progresses and it becomes apparent where the
resistant materiials are located, i.e., at which elevation;
then the benches would be established to take advantage of
this impervious level. Drilling has been recommended to
better delineate the deposit so when this information be-
comes available the bench levels can better be determined.
4. The 0.25 to 1, <is used in this plan, is vertical to hori-
zontal distance and has been changed on the revised map
to 4:1 (1:025).
5.
