Tim McArdle and I Caere out there
in December. of '80 and were not able to find it. In the
intervening period, I instructed -- I said that you have
a cease and desist order on the first Jones pit which
allows you to remove from stockpiles. I said there
has been nothing done on the pit. I know it is there
and you know that I know. I r_annot get up to it,
inspect it necessarily tomorrow. I will get there when
I can and therefore it has not been brought to the board's
attention. It is also an unpermitted pit and that I
expressed upon them the need for haste .in getting both
of the pits permitted, because they were both still
unpermitted operations. The one was going to permit
removal from the stockpile as per the board's instructions.
The other one was a totally unpermitted pit and would
be brought to the board's attention as soon as we could
get someone to actually inspect it.
htr. Webster came in and I recommended
Jim Sells with the sand and gravel producers association
who I felt was probably a more -- a better person to
actually recommend people and Mr. Webster said he wanted
to do this right away. I gave him the name of two or
three different consultants, he said fine, I will take
one and left me at that time. I did not --
MS.
