I9. It would be advantageous to place fish structures in the pond <br /> bottoms before they are allowed to fill with water. The Division <br /> can provide design and possibly assist with placement of fish <br /> structures. <br /> 10. Shorelines should be revegetated with a variety of suitable <br /> grass and forb species rather than a monoculture stand of grass. <br /> Woody plants would also increasE/edge in upland areas. <br /> 11 . Finally, the Division would appreciate the opportunity to <br /> salvage fish from the existing pond prior to dewatering, if <br /> possible. <br /> The Bucklen Company and the City of Greeley have an opportunity <br /> to create an attractive recreational area, improve the wildife <br /> potential for this site and at the same time remove and utilize <br /> a valuable mineral resource. Hopefully the recommendations <br /> found in this letter will help achieve these goals.
