Ade- <br /> quate precautions shall be taken by the applicant to <br /> insure that trucks leaving the quarry shall have loads <br /> secured and outside truck bodies cleared of material <br /> prior to leaving the quarry. Present safety precau- <br /> tions along the access road from Colorado highway No. <br /> 8, such as mirrors , shall be maintained . <br /> 4. The applicant shall continue to maintain fencing and <br /> posting around the quarry between the surrounding <br /> public parks and the quarry in such a way as to insure <br /> the public will not wander into the quarry operation. <br /> 5. The processing equipment (crushers , screens, conveyors , <br /> etc.) shall' not be moved from the general area where <br /> presently located, nor extended to a new or different <br /> location without prior permission of this Board. <br /> 6. The Leonard Rice llater Engineering , Inc. Study, dated <br /> April 1975, presented a total of i drainage plans for <br /> the operation, !then the applicant decides on the ' <br /> plan it will follow, the applicant shall present said <br /> plan to the Board as its final drainage plan. There- <br /> after, any modification or alteration of said plan shall <br /> be brought to the Board for its review prior to imple- <br /> mentation. In the interim, between the date of this <br /> Resolution and the date when the applicant decides on <br /> its final drainage plan, the present drainage plan <br /> shall remain in force and effect. <br /> 7. The applicant shall not allow sediment to accumulate <br /> in any of the detention ponds. All such ponds are to <br /> be cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. <br /> 8. The slopes along the cuts and fills on the access road <br /> from Colorado Highway No. B shall be seeded and reseeded , <br /> until growth acceptable to the Board of Adjustment is i <br /> established. <br /> 9. Noise levels outside the pit area shall not exceed the <br /> levels established by the Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Act (OSHA) and the Colorado Occupational Safety and <br /> Health Act (COSH) , now or as amended , for a period of <br /> 8 to it hours , This standard does not apply to the im- <br /> mediate work area where employee protection is provided . <br /> 10. A performance bond shall be provided for reclamation <br /> naming Board-oi - Adjustment and the Board of County <br /> Commissioners of Jefferson County in the amount of <br /> Fifty-Five Thousand Dollars ( $55,000.00) in a form <br /> acceptable to the County Attorney's office. Said 1 <br /> bond shall be subject to revietl at each annual report. <br /> The. County may f:e named as jnint ohliace with the <br /> State of Colorado on a hood mutually acceptable to <br /> both entities . The performance bond shall remain in <br /> r full force and effect until rolca5cd by the Board of , <br /> Adjustment. <br /> 11 . The applicant shall maintain its present _bodily injury <br /> and property damage insurance policy with the Agricul - <br /> tural Insurance covlpanyTl'nlicy pAf,A373554} , or a similar <br /> I type insurance in amounts of $300,000.00 Bodily Injury <br /> and $100,D00,0o Property Damage, until all operations I <br /> and reclamation is COmplet0d. <br /> ' 1 <br /> -4- <br /> i <br />
