The president shall be responsible for providing academic leadership <br /> for the University in meeting the needs of the state and shall maintain and advance the academic policies <br /> of the University. <br /> (C)The president shall be responsible for the administration of the entire University and shall ensure <br /> compliance of all University matters with University policy and applicable external taw and regulation. <br /> The president shall be the arbiter in case of intra-University conflicts. <br /> (D)The president shall be the chief spokesperson for and interpreter of University policy and shall <br /> represent and interpret the roles, goals, and needs of the University throughout the state and elsewhere as <br /> appropriate. <br /> (E)The president shall be an ex offrcio member of the Faculty Council and of the Senate and chair of the <br /> Council of Academic Deans. <br /> (F)3 The president is authorized: <br /> (1) 5 To approve the appointments and any subsequent related changes,including salaries, in <br /> accordance with the delegation of personnel authority approved by the Board of Regents: <br /> and <br /> r l/I:ioo 07 <br />
