In performance of these <br /> duties, the secretary of the University and of the Board of Regents shall directly report to the Board of <br /> Regents. <br /> 3.B_3 Treasurer4 <br /> (A)The treasurer of the University shall perform the duties set out in state law and such other duties as <br /> may-be assigned by-the Board of Regents and the president. In performance of the duties assigned by the <br /> Board of Regents, the treasurer shall direcdy report to the Board of Regents. <br /> (3)The treasurer shall give bond in.rite penalty of not less than twenty-five thousand dollars, and such <br /> further amounts as the Board may-specify, conditioned for the faithful discharge of duties. <br /> 3.B.4 Vice Presidents4 <br /> The vice presidents shall support the president in the performance of academic, administrative, and <br /> financial duties and responsibilities. In addition, the vice presidents shall maintain effective working <br /> relationships with the executive agencies of the state and perform other duties as may be delegated by <br /> the president.If an executive vice president is appointed, s/he shall serve as principal advisor and <br /> counselor to the president and have other duties as delegated by the president. <br /> 3.B.5 Universiry Counsel <br /> The university counsel shall be the general counsel of the University and,when so designated, shall act <br /> as the representative of the attorney general of the state.
