These procedures shall apply to the selection and <br /> appointment of the president and all other principal officers. <br /> (C)Principal officers are thc.presideat, secretary,treasurer,university counsel, vice.presidents, and <br /> chancellors.Principal officers comprise both officers of the University and officers of the administration. <br /> The president,secretary, treasurer, and.university counsel are of-tcers of the University. In,performance <br /> of the duties assigned by the Board of Regents, officers of the University provide services directly to the <br /> Board of Regents and directly report to the Board of Regents. The vice presidents and chancellors are <br /> officers of the administration. Officers of the administration report to the president, either directly or <br /> through another officer of 'administration. <br /> 3.A.2 President 1,4 <br /> As provided in section 13 of article IX of the Constitution of the State of Colorado and state law, the <br /> regents of the University shall elect the president of the University of Colorado.
