Exhibit I <br />Soils Information <br />A soil survey of the Topaz Mine permit area was obtained from the NRCS Web Soil Survey <br />service (http://websoilsurvey.nres.usda.gov/ap~n. Soils within the Topaz Mine permit area <br />consist of the following: <br />• Bodot, dry-Ustic Torriorthents complex, 5 to 50 percent slopes <br />• Farb-Rock outcrop complex, 1 to 30 percent slopes <br />• Minchey fine sandy loam, 1 to 10 percent slopes <br />• Mivida fine sandy loam, 5 to 15 percent slopes <br />• Paradox fine sandy loam, 1 to 4 percent slopes <br />• Pinon-Ustic Torriorthents complex, 5 to 30 percent slopes <br />• Redlands sandy loam, I to 6 percent slopes <br />• Rock outcrop <br />• Rock outcrop-Orthents complex, 40 to 90 percent slopes <br />• Ustic Torriorthents-Ustochreptic Calciorthids, 3 to 30 percent slopes <br />A soil map is provided in Figure C-6 and soil descriptions are attached in this exhibit. The <br />affected ]ands associated with the surface facilities, where topsoil salvaging and stockpiles will <br />occur, is located within the Mivida fine sandy loam soil type. <br />OS-18-07 Exhibit I Soils Info 1-1 <br />
