A sufficient hydrology database consisting of <br />flow, water level, field parameter, aryl water quality information had been <br />established prior t0 1993 to define the pre-minim hydrology at this location. <br />During 1993, no new mining activities with the potential of creating detectable <br />impacts ooc~sred in the vicinity of Spring & Pond 13-5. <br />Currently this spring is required to be monitored quarterly for flows and field <br />parameters; annually for water quality. As ~argl to current x-egi,;*p~++~~ts, no <br />monitoring anissions ooanrred during 1993; two additional water level and field <br />parameter visits oocxnz'ed in 1993. 'ihe water quality sample collected from this <br />site was obtained in the fall whereas spring sampling will be emphasized in the <br />future.
