(2) RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE <br />Mount Royale, LLC herein provides the following reclamation cost <br />estimate to incorporate all areas associated with the (amended) MLRD <br />Permit No. M-93-141. <br />Mine Permit Area: Estimated Cost: <br />Cash Mine Area $ 9,292.00 <br />Who Do Mine Area $10,780.00 <br />Mount Royale Mine Area $49.271.00 <br />$69,343.00 <br />A detailed breakdown of the above relamation cost estimate is provided <br />in the accompanying Table D-1: Overall Site Closure and Reclamation <br />Cost Estimate and Table D-2: Recalculation Detail -Cash and Who <br />Do Mines Reclamation Bond Estimate, both of which are incorporated <br />immediately following the text in this Exhibit D. <br />Basis of Cost Estimate <br />The following general discussion provides an additional level of detail on <br />those items incorporated into the site closure and reclamation cost <br />estimate for the Cash Mine, Who Do Mine, and the proposed Mount <br />Royale Mine areas. <br />Cash Mine Area <br />Structures: The Cash Mine shaft/headframe, hoist house, office building, <br />and main storage building, respectively, will remain intact. The <br />dewatering well will remain, with the wellhead secured. The other two <br />structures (shop building and storage shed) will be dismantled/removed. <br />Waste Rock: The Cash Mine area waste rock reclamation will be carried <br />out as described above [in general conformance with the approved plan <br />but subject to topographic limitations introduced by the subsequent <br />(1988) reconfiguration of the pile]. <br />Other. Miscellaneous materials and scrap/trash will be removed from the <br />area and either salvaged or disposed in accordance with applicable <br />regulations. The escapeway adit will be secured with a locking (bat- <br />accessible) permanent steel gate. Similarly, the Cash shaft will be <br />equipped with a secure, locking cover. <br />Who Do Mine Area: <br />Structures: The Who Do headframe, hoisthouse, powder magazine, privy, <br />and switch house will remain intact, as will the wood ore bin situated on <br />Exhibit D - Reclamatlon Plan 6 <br />
