• • i <br />5. Split samples retained by BMRI shall be deemed by i~MG to satisfy <br />any normal required sampling effort scheduled to occur within two <br />weeks of the independent sampling event. The DMG and BMRI shall <br />use their best efforts to coordinate sampling activities i~ such a way as <br />to minimize duplication. <br />C. Sample Collection Procedures <br />1. The third party sampling contractor shall prepare a gu~eline for the <br />conduct of the sampling, based upon a review of the per t monitoring <br />requirements and the Sampling and Analytical Protocql (TR-006). <br />2. The third party sampling contractor shall observe Bl}~1RI complete <br />sampling and filtering of the collected samples. <br />3. The third party sampling contractor shall accept a slit sample to <br />preserve and ship to the analytical laboratory it shall etain for such <br />purpose. <br />4. The third party sampling contractor shall observe the decontamination <br />of all sampling equipment, bailing and sample collectidn. <br />5. The third party sampling contractor shall complete an agceptance form <br />for each sample, including its appraisal of whether ~ the sampling <br />technique employed by BMRI conforms with the approv~d TR No. 006 <br />protocol. <br />6. If the third party sampling contractor refuses to accepts id sample and <br />states a specific objection to it, BMRI shall perform t e sampling a <br />second time. If concurrence cannot be reached after r sampling, the <br />sample shall be retained and submitted for analysis, but designated as <br />"rejected" and be considered in dispute. <br />7. The third party sampling contractor shall be responsibld for providing <br />all necessary bottles, reagents, packing, coolers, prese~ation needs, <br />custody forms, and all other sampling materials as nee ed to conduct <br />said sampling pursuant to the TR No. 006 protocol. <br />8. The third party sampling contractor shall be responsible for sample <br />preservation, transportation and delivery to the indepen ent analytical <br />laboratory. <br />-4- <br />
