Phase IVb Weekly Summary No. 23 Pale 2 003-2203 Ames continued placement of HVSCS secondary and tertiary piping within the Phase IVb OSA limits, followed by DCF haul and placement per project plans. Ames continued haul and placement of DCF onto the Phase IVb OSA north slope near the LOB. Ames also continued haul and placement of DCF in the Phase IVb OSA adjacent to the Phase IVa tie-in. Ames hauled and placed ore`in the Phase IVb PSSA for riser pipe construction, and haul road construction. Ames continued construction of the vertical risers in the Phase IVb PSSA sump, per project plans. Ames also placed and compacted ore on the southern slope of the Phase IVb OSA. Ames hauled, placed, and compacted Soil Lmer Fill (SLF) material into the Phase Nb OSA, on the slope south and east of the LOB. Rain-damaged SLF material was reworked and retested prior to SLF surface acceptance. Ames continued production of DCF at the screen plant Iocated near the secondary crusher. Ames also continued production of SLF. Ames hauled and placed Bedding Fill (BF) material into the Phase IVb OSA on the Phase III south ore slope adjacent to the east end berm in preparation for geomembrane deployment. Poly-Flex continued deployment of 80-mil single-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane in the Phase Nb OSA. Geomembrane was placed in the Phase IVb OSA on the south-facing slope of Substation Hill, near the Phase IVa/IVb and Phase UIVb tie-ins, and south of the LOB. Poly-Flex deployed 80-mil single-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane over an azea of approximately 163,881 squaze feet in the Phase IVb OSA during this reporting period. Geomembrane panels B-251 through B-295 were deployed, seamed, and tested by Poly-Flex. Destructive fusion and extrusion seam samples DFb-76 through DFb-97, and DXb-19 were marked and removed. Destrucrive fusion and extrusion seam peel and sheaz tests on 80-mil single-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane deployed during this reporting period passed per project specifications. Poly-Flex deployed 80-mil double-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane in the Phase IVb OSA on the 2H:1 V riser slope. Poly-Flex deployed 80-mil doub]e-sided textured LLDPE geomembrane over an area of approximately 7,8I7 squaze feet in the Phase IVb OSA during this reporting period. Geomembrane panels B-296 through B-300 were deployed, seamed, and tested by Poly-Flex. No destructive fusion or extrusion seam samples were marked on the 80-mil double-sided liner during this reporting period.
