(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of June 25 <br />through 28, 2003. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 42° F to 46° F, and highs ranged from 71° F to 82° F. Weather <br />observations were made on four days of this four-day reporting period. <br />Construction S,, i~ns?s <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase PJb <br />construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on four days of this four-day <br />reporting period (June 25 through 28). Poly-Flex conducted Phase IVb construction activities on three <br />days of this four-day reporting period (June 25, 26, and 28). <br />Phase IVb <br />Ames conducted slope re-contouring and re-compaction in the Phase IVb OSA on Substation Hill, west <br />and upslope of the PSSA. <br />Ames continued excavation of the Phase IVb OSA geomembrane anchor trench near the LOB fie-in, <br />excavating approximately 1001ineaz feet of anchor trench in prepazafion for geomembrane deployment. <br />Ames exposed approximately 601ineaz feet of geomembrane liner at the Phase PJb PSSA by removing <br />a previously placed Drain Cover Fill (DCF) access road. <br />
