Phase IVb Weekly Summary No. 15 Page 2 003-2203 Ames continued placement of Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase ]Vb azea, placing SF on the Substation Bill south slopes. Ames also continued slope recontouring and re-compaction on Substation ffill and Raven Hill, upslope of the PSSA. Ames continued Drain Cover Fill (DCF) removal near the Phase III /Phase IVb PSSA tie-in in prepazation for east end berm and Phase IVb OSA construction. Ames completed set up of the DCF screen plant near the secondary crusher. No ore material was screened through the plant during this reporting periad. Ames excavated and constructed approximately 160 feet of Primary Underdrain on the west and south slope of Substation I3'ill in the Phase IVb azea. Ames excavated and constructed approximately 650 feet of Leak Detection Trench on the west and south slope of Substation Bill in the Phase IVb azea. Ames placed Low Volume Solution Collection Fill (LVSCF) onto the 2:1 riser slope. Poly-Flex continued deployment of 100-mil double-sided smooth (upper) LLDPE geomembrane in the Phase IVb PSSA Poly-Flex deployed 100.mi1 smooth LLDPE geomembrane over an azea of approximately 371,395 squaze feet in the Phase IVb PSSA during this reporting period. Geomembrane panels U-115 through U-252 were deployed, seamed, and pressure tested by Poly-Flex. Destructive fusion seam samples DFu-36 through DFu-75 were marked and removed. Destructive fusion seam pee] and sheaz tests of samples DFu-17 through DFu-68 were performed and passed per project specification. Poly-Flex resumed deployment of 100-mil single-sided textured (lower) LLDPE geomembrane in the Phase Nn PSSA. Poly-flex depioyed i0G-mii smooth LLDPE geomembrane o-ver an area of approximately 53,208 square feet in the Phase IVb PSSA lower geomembrane during this reporting period. Geomembrane panels L-561 through L-585 were deployed, seamed, and pressure tested by Poly-Flex Destructive fusion seam samples DF-153 through DF-158 were mazked. Phase IVc Ames resumed limited cut to fill and cut to temporary stockpiling activities within the limits of the Phase IVc area. Ames hauled Structural Fill (SF) material from the Phase Nc azea to temporary stockpiles on Chicken Hawk Hill and in the Saddle Fill. Field Monitorine and Testing Activities Golder observed construction activities associated with Phase N earthworks. All construction materials and soil materials placed were verified as suitable, and construction methods were in accordance with project specifications. Removal of oversized or deleterious material from all fill azeas was observed.
