(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Nb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of April 27 <br />through May 3, 2003. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 24° F to 36° F, and highs ranged from 44° F to 54° F. Snow was recorded <br />on May 2. Weather observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. <br />Construction Svnonsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVb and <br />c construction. Ames conducted Phase Nb and c construction activities on six days of this seven-day <br />reporting period (April 28 through May 3, 2003). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nb construction <br />activities on seven days of this seven-day reporting period (April 27 through May 3, 2003). <br />Phase IVb <br />Ames continued to haul and place Soil Liner Fill (SLF) in the Phase Nb PSSA and OSA area for <br />construction of the east PSSA end berm and north primary anchor trench. Ames moisture-conditioned <br />and compacted the SLF placed on the west slope of Substation Hill. <br />Ames continued excavation of the upper Phase Nb PSSA geomembrane primary anchor trench and the <br />lower secondary anchor trench, excavating approximately 400 feet of northern primary anchor trench, <br />and approximately 650 feet of southeast secondary anchor trench. <br />
